I just bought this Cushman. It's a "Civilian Airborne" that differs from the military version that was famous for service in World War II. This one has springs on both ends and no parachute hooks. I have another one that is a little less complete, so I will combine the two and add a little paint. That's my 1947 Cushman in the background. Picture made in Cochran, Georgia, March 30, 2007.
Before World War II, Cushman built scooters called Autoglides.
